(More customer reviews)Purchased this product at the recommendation of my golf teacher.Have golfed for 30 years now, about an 11 handicapper.Have a strong tendancy to be a little too right handed so I would usually be left of my target.This really showed me that you don't need to break your wrists at impact as many previously had taught me.Takes a little getting used to at the range.Be sure to do as the video indicates, hit 20 with it on, 20 without it.I keep this in my bag so when I'm at the range and on the course, I can put it on for a bit to get the feel.

Medicus Power Meter Review

(More customer reviews)First everyone always wonders if this thing is accurate, that was a concern of my also before my purchase. Well the answer is yes it is accurate. I have had it on my 7 iron and driver while at the same time monitored by a launch monitor hitting balls on the range. Tried that set up at two locations, the instructors or fitters were curious if it was accurate just like me, so they hooked me up on the launch monitor. With the 7 wood in both cases my speed with the Power Meter was on the low side about 2 mph, with the Driver it was higher by 1 mph. For less than $50 I don't know of a anything that comes close in this price range for the home user. When I use it with my irons I'm trying to find that constant swing tempo and swing speed that works best with all my irons. When I use it with my Driver I'm working on getting my swing speed faster. One thing that sinks in very quickly is just swinging faster or harder doesn't always equate to more swing speed. So in that regard you know your mechanics and timing is off so you work on that along with the faster swing and measure the results. I have been able to increase my swing speed by 15 mph using this product to help me get my timing and tempo in line with with a faster swing. At 61, and recent shoulder surgery, my mph isn't going to impress you but 15 mph more equates as a big plus to me. I have a net in the backyard but you can't tell distance or direction as you can on the range. But with the Medicus Power Meter I can get a indication on distance, better or worse, on each swing with the net.

(More customer reviews)I had used this item with an instructor and it was easy to see and feel the correct position of the hands/arms in the backswing. He said it was the only aide he recommends for purchase, even though there are many, many types on the market. I can see why this is all you need to correct a misalignment of the hands in the backswing.
It is easy to attach to the club for practice, using it is easy and after a short time, there is no need to continue as the hand position becomes automatic...
Money well spent!

SKLZ Rick Smith Smash Bag - Impact Training Product Review

(More customer reviews)I was originally looking at a Callaway branded impact bag but came across this one. It's pretty much the least expensive impact bag I've found so I went for it. The material is pretty beefy and looks like it's going to take a decent pounding. I ended up filling it with old sheets, shirts, leftovers from slutty ex-girlfriends, old underwear, etc.... It's been great, if not for just being able to swing my 6 iron at something while at home. If you're doing the drill properly it will help you feel your club face position at impact. After having used it for a couple hundred swings now, I think I might get more use out of doing what the other reviewer recommended and filling it with bird feed. That would solve the problem of having to reposition the bag after each swing and allow for a better indicator of your club face at impact. FYI - depending on how much you practice, you're going to go through at least 2 per year so cheaper is better. I don't think the other ones that cost more will last any longer.
