(More customer reviews)These, along with the Almost Golf P3 Almost Golf Practice Ball 36 Pack balls, are the best golf practice balls that I've found. They're made of soft rubber and won't break any windows or dent your car (I've hit mine numerous times). With dimples like a real golf ball, they take spin and give you a good idea about the kind of swing you've made. You need some room to hit these, though. With a 9-iron, I can hit these anywhere from, say, 40-65 yards. I have no idea how the distance with this ball compares to a real golf ball. Maybe half or a third the distance. I'll find out next time I visit the range. When I compare these with the Almost Golf P3 Almost Golf Practice Ball 36 Pack balls, which I also highly recommend, the key difference is feel. The Callaways are very soft, and with that much give in them, at impact you have a hard time really feeling the clubhead compress the ball. The sound tells you when you've made good contact, and then you watch ball flight. With the Almost Golf balls, they're a hard kind of rubber, and when I hit those, I can actually feel and see, in my mind's eye, the clubhead squared up against the ball, and I know where it's going from that instant. So the sensation is very much like hitting a real golf ball. Of course, the weight of a real golf ball makes a big difference when I go from hitting these practice balls and try out my swing on the range. I find that my swing starts to break down pretty quickly at the range, because I'm fighting the strange weight of the ball and still trying to hit it as far as I think I should be, based on distances I've hit the Almost Golf ball in my yard (and that should be a third the distance of a real golf ball). But that's another story. The Callaways are just great, and such a pleasure after hitting with solid white plastic practice balls, which begin to crack and dent after a few swings, even easy ones with a 9-iron.

Intech Beta Ti Golf Balls (36 Pack) Review

(More customer reviews)I recently bought this pack and tried them right away. These responded great on the course, even on rough I still could get good lift AND spin. On the greens they're pretty firm. Though from the tee these don't have the same feel as Titleists PRO V1 or Callaways HX's. Because of their price, I guess it's a psychological thing knowing no matter how you hit the ball, if it is lost you don't lose that much. It's conforting to know that. I guess this helps hit the ball more confidently. I would definitely recommend these.

Rain Wedge Premier Golf Bag Rain Cover Review

(More customer reviews)I live in the Seattle, WA area and have been using the Rain Wedge for over a year.I am a walker and usually use a pull cart or three wheel push cart.Any time the weather looks as if it might rain I put the Rain Wedge in my bag between my 3 & 5 woods.It goes on and comes off easily, it opens and closes with one hand. Or in my case, I just use my elbow to snap the cover back to keep my hands dry when getting a club.The flexible stays keep the cover up, above and away from the club heads, so the clubs and grips stay dry.
Unlike an umbrella, it's performance is not affected by windy weather, it stays in place and the front drops down low enough so rain does not get into the bag.
I have the original cover that came with the golf bag but it was a pain to use.The old cover has snaps, straps & a zipper and required two hands to open and close. In addition, the club handles would get wet when I put clubs back after hitting the ball.
I play year round, and in Seattle it is prone to rain a bit from October through June.I like the Rain Wedge and gave it as a gift to one of my golfing partners who also plays in wet weather.I recommend this product.

INTECH LiteRider Cart (10" wheels, steel frame) Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great little cart. Although I noticed some of the other reviewers got a better deal than I did, I still think it's worth every penny. The pictures of the cart are hard to see what it's really like, so I'm going to try to describe it.

The handle for the cart folds down, and as it folds down the wheels compact inward on an angle. The foot upon which the bag rests also folds inwards. The score card holder is simply a piece of plastic that snaps into place, quite loosely unfortunately. There are several tee holders, two golf ball holders, and a pencil holder. There is also a water bottle (included) and holder on the side of the frame.

The cart "rides" very smoothly. My golf bag had a tendency to turn sideways, but that is not unique to this cart. The score card holder worked OK, but I can see what people mean that it's loose and the card may fall out. I never had it fall out, but the card certainly did slide a little.

The pencil holder has no "stop" to prevent the pencil from going straight through. It held the pencil fine for me today, but I can see over time that it will lose its usefulness.

All in all, I think this is still a great cart, and I definitely recommend it.
